Alkemist Labs Announces Mo Lababidi as Director of Botanical Identity

Garden Grove, CA (June 22, 2026) – Alkemist Labs is pleased to announce that Mo Lababidi has joined the company as Director of Botanical Identity. In this role, he will help drive continued innovation and operational excellence as demand for scientifically valid botanical testing continues to grow. Mo will focus on enhancing laboratory efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding Alkemist’s rigorous standards of scientific integrity.

Mo holds an MBA from the University of Redlands and a degree in Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach. With a career deeply rooted in botanical science, he previously spent more than a decade at Alkemist, advancing through key laboratory and leadership positions. He later expanded his expertise overseeing multi-site laboratory operations and now returns to lead Alkemist’s Botanical Identity department.
