AHPA Botanical Congress
2025
Bryan Fine shared these observations on the AHPA Botanical Congress:
Botanical Congress in Cincinnati, Ohio was a great educational and networking experience. This year’s event was unique because it was the first botanical congress not connected to a trade show. That format created a more focused environment for meaningful discussions on important topics in the botanical industry. The sessions were engaging and covered a wide range of relevant issues, making it a truly valuable experience.
I also want to recognize AHPA’s new president, Graham Rigby, who is doing an outstanding job leading the organization. Heim and his team’s vision and recognition of the sponsors were evident throughout the event. It is clear AHPA is moving in a positive direction.
One of the most memorable parts of the congress was visiting the Lloyd Library and Museum. This historic library is an incredible resource for anyone interested in botany, pharmacognosy, and natural medicine. The collection is fascinating, and I found some old botanical reference books that we have in the Alkemist library. I want to extend a sincere thank you to the Lloyd Library staff for their warm hospitality during our visit.
Overall, the congress was a great success, and I look forward to seeing how AHPA continues to innovate and support the botanical community.”
