ALKEMIST LABS ANNOUNCES NEW BOTANICAL REFERENCE MATERIALS, REDUCED PRICES
Garden Grove, CA (March 21, 2018) – Visitors to Alkemist Labs’ web store will notice quite a few new botanical reference materials (BRMs) available for plants and plant parts that were previously unavailable to the market. In addition to existing offerings from Extrasynthese, Alkemist Labs’ own line, and the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia’s AHP-Verified Botanical Reference Materials, 132 new botanical reference materials from Botanicert are now available. Over half of these reference substances are new botanical and plant part combinations previously unavailable. The companies have also worked together to make purchase of BRMs even more affordable.
Botanicert, a testing services company specializing in plants and located in Grasse, France, has a very close relationship with Extrasynthese, which led to a world-wide distribution relationship. It was only natural that the next step was making Botanicert Reference Materials available to Alkemist Labs’ customers in the US and Canada through the partnership between Extrasynthese and Alkemist.
“Following the announcement of our partnership with Botanicert last summer and the launch of our Botanical Reference Material (BRM) product line, we are very excited to make these new products available in the USA and Canada thanks to Alkemist Labs,” said René de Vaumas, CEO of Extrasynthese. “We will continuously expand our BRM list over the years while contributing to industry efforts to strengthen quality and authentication of herbal products.”
In addition to the catalog expansion, the cost of shipping for Extrasynthese phytochemicals and Botanicert BRMs has been cut in half, to $25. There is also a price reduction on 25 key phytochemical reference standards – up to 33% off 2017 prices. Companies looking for specific hard to find standards will be pleased with the new web store’s “browse phytochemicals by chemical family” category function.
“Offering these BRM’s from partners with the level of expertise our colleagues have is a fantastic development,” said Alkemist Labs CEO Elan Sudberg. “Obviously we are passionate about making it easy for our clients to continue raising the level of product identity and quality verification in the industry.
