“Random Testing Program”

Alkemists Labs announces successful results with its’ Random Testing Program after first 12 months of introduction to clients. “Our participating clients have been able to significantly increase their marketability, brand value and consumer loyalty by illustrating an aspect of Quality that differentiates them from competitors of similar Dietary Supplements unlike anything we’ve seen in the marketplace,” says Elan Sudberg, COO of Alkemist Labs.

The Random Testing Program is a customized service offering Alkemist Labs provides to select clients that enables such companies to achieve three primary milestones with respect to the Quality of their finished products: 1) Assurance of quality, 2) Accountability for partners and 3) Increase in brand value/recognition.

Assurance of Quality is achieved by conducting a statistically relevant sampling of clients’ products “off the shelf “and assaying those products to gain unbiased, real-time data points that, when combined, illustrate overall product efficacy. Accountability for Partners is achieved when the client is able to determine and ensure all their vendors are complying with quality guidelines set forth, which reinforce those business relationships. Increase in Brand Value/Recognition is achieved by providing the client with highly valuable and marketable data based on the Quality of their product, which in turn a client uses to differentiate themselves, communicate to consumers and quantify against units sold.  

“There’s been tremendous responses from our clients to help them better understand their overall risks and monitor Quality. The program has helped determine accountability of their partners at any given time to advert potentially serious manufacturing or logistics issues, or even worse, product recalls and other Brand damaging situations” says Sudberg.

Results from a recent survey of Alkemists Labs’ Random Testing Service with 12 clients reported that their consumers showed an 88% satisfaction rating of product quality. Clients also reported increases in revenue ranging 15%-40% over sales projections within first 6 months of starting the Random Testing Program when communicated to consumers. Three clients reported that the Random Testing Program uncovered inconsistencies with two or more manufacturers/suppliers that led them to seek new partners and establish stricter controls for product quality.   

“What we are learning is that consumers of Dietary Supplements believe testing is important for safety and quality, though its’ not well understood by or promoted to them, other than just a company saying it is and having a fancy label. We plan to lead the effort of truly proving overall product Quality to such consumers, with our Random Testing Program” says Sudberg.
